VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast, has officially opened bookings for two premium electric SUVs, VF 7 and VF 6, marking a significant step in its Indian market entry. This announcement coincides with Tesla’s launch of its first showroom in Mumbai, intensifying competition in India’s burgeoning EV market. The two models, VF 7 and VF 6, are slated to go on sale starting in August, following the inauguration of VinFast’s manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
